I’ve been a student of Kim’s for over 2 years. Having done Pilates off and on for the past 20 years I can say no teacher has come close to the expertise and attention to detail that Kim provides. After 2 abdominal surgeries I am doing things that I was told would not be possible and loving every moment of it. I am stronger and more in tune with my body and how it moves than I was even before the surgeries. I’m so grateful for Kim. Love her teaching style and every week my sessions with Kim are a highlight!

Kim is not just another Pilates instructor. She has a passion beyond Pilates that drives her to seek deep understanding of how bodies are designed to function optimally,…with strength and fluidity. She is a true “Body Whisperer”, using perfect words that inspire change and restoration from the inside out. One area of remarkable improvement I have experienced from taking classes with Kim is that although I’ve always had great flexibility, it is now enhanced with strength and control. Kim’s keen observation revealed something I was totally unaware of. My flexibility was operating independently and robbing me of full power and strength of movement. I now stand and move in wholeness, doing all with much improved ease.

After years of pain from old injuries and aches from aging and lifestyle requirements, Kim’s instruction leaves me energized, relaxed and feeling like my body is mine again. Pilates has given me back a sense of strength and confidence in my ability to move well and feel good when exercising, something I thought was lost when I reached my mid 40’s!

Kim has a very personal and motivational way with her clients that makes you feel comfortable and excited to come back for the next session. I hobble in and glide out of Kim’s studio. She guides with very clear cues and helps me make subtle adjustments in movement and posture so I can go about gardening and do other things I love.
